Not really sure if you've noticed, but Las Morenas de España posts 3 to 4 fresh and new publications per week, without fail. A schedule as demanding as that requires lots of inspiration (and coffee, and patience, and late nights). We love y'all, that's why we do it! Our goal is to inspire, encourage, and assist in the slayage that is your life! That said, it's no easy feat! So, where do we go when we're in need of inspo? Here are a few of our favorite bloggers, writers, and internet bffs!
Zim of Travel Noire
Classic. Zim gives us all types of entrepreneurial goals on the daily, and reminds us that working remotely is really a lot of work, but when your office changes from Brazil to South Africa, the pay-off is oh so worth it! Get to know this boss, yes humble and inspiring woman behind the brand!
Photography & Film
What we would give to see Andre L. Perry work his magic behind the lens! So many happy, smiling Black and Brown faces! Adore! Bravo, Andre, you've got some serious fans in Spain!
Nia of Fro Girl Ginny
Goodness, can we be sister friends already? I don't think we've ever seen this girl not smiling and/ or dancing! She's the kind of person that seems to brighten not just your timeline, but also your day! And her hair!!
Poets & Artists
Yes, she existed before Beyoncè, and yes she still slayed just as hard. We've been time Warsan for a minute, so go, get your poetic life, please! We'll wait!
Nicholle Kobi of Niki's Groove
Have you seen any dope illustrations of women of color slaying on your Instagram feed? They're probably by this talented queen. Way to change the perception of Black women in mainstream media, one dope illustration at a time!
South African spoken word artist, Maya came to our attention with her viral piece "Why you talk so white" and has been speaking truth (in like 7 languages) ever since. She's humble, honest, and raw, and we're here for it.
Where do you go for inspiration? Who are some of your favorite creatives?
