Dig In With Much Bites : Goiko Grill

"One of our goals is to make Goiko Grill your second home and to convert you into a Goiko Grill burger addict," publicly asserted Goiko Grill.

"Yeah right," I said.

Little did I know that I would become an addict to these burgers. I honestly don't know what it is but I cannot stop going to Goiko Grill. Since my first visit to this place way back when, I have struggled eating other burgers. This really goes to show that quality is the essence of success.

The ingredients used by Goiko Grill are nothing but fresh. Imagine a restaurant that makes its own burgers in their own kitchens, everyday. Imagine them cutting the potatoes and seasoning them ready to be served that very same day. Nothing frozen. This just sounds like utopia or my mother's kitchen, doesn't it? Now, keep imagining that same restaurant charging reasonable prices. Even for the biggest of appetites like mine, not ever paying more that 20€ a visit and leaving without ever wanting to see food for a while. It's just a dream, isn't it? WELCOME TO GOIKO GRILL! Living proof that dreams can come true.

In addition to actually doing all the above mentioned, the customer service is another huge boost of confidence. They actually make a fuss over your visit and show you they love you. The staff are very attentive and well-versed in the menu. They can tell you the flavors in each burger and also their favorite. If in doubt, order your waiter's favorite, you won't be disappointed.

To help you wash down the meal, refreshing drinks are on offer. From the rum cocktails to the iced tea, every need and want is catered for.

Like all things great and small, Goiko Grill had humble beginnings. The first one ever was opened on Calle Maria Molina, 16. Slowly but surely, this was followed by the 2nd baby on Calle Conde de Peñalver, 41. As things currently stand, 6 Goikos are in full operation, with the last one having been cooked up and opened recently on Santa Engacia. Each of these establishments happily boast the same model: freshly made burgers plus hand cut chips plus happy staff. So whichever part of the city you're in, you can rest assured that a Goiko Grill will be a non arduous journey away.

If you haven't already been, I couldn't tell you to go strongly enough, even if I tried. Just book a table and go. In fact, chances are I'll going tonight, for what will likely be the second time of week!
