Relax at Monforte Gardens
While relatively small, the Monforte Gardens are the most beautiful in Valencia. Once a vegetable garden, this lush garden has gorgeous marble statues, a goldfish pond, several fountains and a neoclassical landscape. This place is a photographers dream! Relax among the cypress hedges, the rose beds, and the calla lilies.

Walk Through The Old Town
Valencia's old town really is incredibly beautiful and very well-preserved. For us, the best way to experience a new city is to take time to discover its streets and squares and wander off its hidden alleyways on foot. Don’t hesitate to get lost along the cobblestone streets and move at your own leisurely pace. Pop into a boutique store or marvel at the gorgeous architecture. El Carmen is by far Valencia’s most charming neighborhood. Take advantage of getting to know the city on foot, we think that's the best way to get accustomed!
Get Active at Rio Turia
The 9 km long garden connects the futuristic City of Arts in the east and Sciences with the naturalistic Biopark in the west. While the park splits the city into two parts, its running and cycling paths, water parks, and sporting/cultural facilities have actually brought it together. If you want to do some exercising while you're in the city, then this is the best spot for it! Bike rentals are available if you’re up for discovering it on two wheels.
Go To A Concert at Plaza de Musica
If you like classical music, you’ll love Palau de la Musica. The glass and iron building is an interesting piece of architecture that has great acoustics. With a large pool and fountain outside the area is a young and fun place to hang around. They often organize Sunday morning concerts free of charge and have outdoor events during the summer.
Shop in Plaza Redonda
The Plaza Redonda has a special kind of charm and is much appreciated by tourists, visitors and residents alike. Easily accessible from Calle San Vicente Mártir, this square is one of the many must-visit sites in the city. You can probably tell by the name that this square is, in fact, circular in shape. Inside, there are stands where you can find typical crafts, ceramics, and various art pieces.
